Remote SEO Web Developer  

The Web Developer’s primary role is to create and maintain the clients website - collaborating with the design and On page teams. The Web Developer is expected to work closely with the SEO in ensuring the website's performance and other plugin implementations needed for the website.

• Designs (if necessary), maintains, and updates client websites and other online properties.
• Updates website layout, user interface, or WordPress themes using standard HTML/CSS practices (for SEO-only clients).
• Monitors website status and ensures optimal site performance.
• Collaborates with the content, IT, design, and SEO teams to ensure websites are functioning and optimized properly.
• Participates in meetings and brainstorming sessions with the SEO team.
• Implements website audit recommendations.
• Responsible for uploading blog content to the site.
• Performs one-off tasks and site maintenance.
• Conducts monthly plugin updates.
• Updates website content and implements approved design changes while coordinating with team members responsible for content production.
• Backs up website files to local directories for recovery.
• Evaluates code to ensure it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of both external and internal interfaces.
• Ensures written code meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent courses
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, ReactJS, Bootsrap, jQuery, Ajax programming
• Proficient in Wordpress CMS and plugin creation, Cpanel, responsive design
• Knowledgeable in using Adobe Photoshop
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or SEO-specific AI platforms.
• Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven marketing workflows.
• Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Previous graveyard or EST work experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a night shift for 8 hours, Monday-Friday EST.

Technical Requirements:

• Own computer unit with high-performance specifications and backup unit.
• Stable lined internet connection and backup; and
• Backup power supply
