Virtual Teammate — Help Grow a Marketplace for Stanford — Fully Remote, Training Provided  

Hi! I'm the founder of SUpost, the trusted online marketplace for the Stanford University community. We're the go-to spot where Stanford students buy and sell stuff, find roommates, score concert tickets, hire tutors, and connect with each other. Think of us as the friendly, university-only version of Facebook Marketplace, OLX or Craigslist — except people actually trust us.

We serve 131,000 users every year, we're profitable, and we've been around for over a decade. Now we're ready for our next adventure: expanding to more elite universities around the world — and we want you on the team to help make it happen.

This isn't a role where you'll be stuck in spreadsheets all day (though we do love a good spreadsheet). You'll be working directly with me, the founder, on the actual fun stuff that makes a startup grow.

What You'll Actually Do (the fun part)

• Business development — help us figure out which universities to launch in next and how to win them over
• Customer discovery — talk to real students, learn what they love (and hate), and bring those insights back to shape the product
• Product design input — share ideas on how the website should look, feel, and work for students
• Campus outreach — help us reach students at new universities and grow our community
• Founder collaboration — brainstorm, strategize, and execute together on growth experiments
• You'll learn what it actually takes to scale an online marketplace — not in theory, but by doing it.

Required:

• Strong English communication skills — especially writing clear, friendly, professional messages and emails
