Jr. or Sr. Accountant  

What You’ll Do

The Jr./Sr. Accountant will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and security transactions regarding school management are processed in accordance to proper accounting principles and company policies. The role would handle tasks such as preparing financial statements, budgeting, and financial forecasting, while also developing financial strategies. The role would be involved in internal controls, risk management, and reporting on financial performance.

Financial Statement Preparation:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Leading the budgeting process and financial forecasting to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Internal Controls:

• Maintains and improves internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information.

Financial Reporting:

• Preparing and reviewing reports on financial performance, highlighting key trends and variances.

Risk Management:

• Manages in identifying and evaluating financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.

Data Analysis:

• Analyzing financial data to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision-making.

Compliance:

• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and policies.

What You’ll Need

• Analytical Skills and Financial expertise
• Experience in Accounting
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Alternative would be BS in Business Management, Accountancy, Economics and other related courses with at least 3-5 years working experience with the same role or similar.
