Quality Assurance  

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and execute end-to-end quality assurance activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Design comprehensive test strategies, test scenarios, test cases, and test plans based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and automation frameworks to improve testing coverage and efficiency.
• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, End-to-End, and API Testing.
• Validate critical banking processes, transactional flows, system integrations, and data integrity.
• Perform API validation and integration testing across RESTful APIs and distributed application environments.
• Conduct database validation using SQL to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Identify, analyze, document, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Work closely with Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to investigate issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation coverage, QA processes, and overall product quality.
• Contribute to integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or QA Engineering.
• Proven experience working on Banking projects, preferably involving digital banking, core banking, financial transactions, payment systems, or banking-related platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience in Test Automation.
• Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts/frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or equivalent.
• Experience with API Testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Functional, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices, and continuous testing is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of quality ownership.
