- Responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining all system infrastructure availability, performance, and security.
- Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on IBM WebSphere Application Server and configure IBM HTTP Server/WebSphere plugins.
- Oversee the development, installation, and optimization of new software and system integrations.
- Perform system administration for Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) and Windows Server environments.
- Manage and support IBM DB2 Database, including monitoring, basic tuning, and backup & recovery.
- Analyze and optimize system and application performance using Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Provision, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers using VMware ESXi and vCenter.
- Perform daily monitoring of server health, network devices (firewalls, switches, routers), and storage systems (SAN/NAS).
- Handle Level 2 incidents and service requests from users, adhering to ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem).
- Execute OS patching, security updates, system hardening, and maintain compliance with IT policies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, VLAN, NAT, and firewall rules.
- Execute and monitor enterprise backup operations (e.g., NetBackup), including data restoration and tape movement.
- Use Ansible for automation of configuration, patching, and routine administrative tasks.
- Coordinate with network vendors or Group IT for escalated issues and project alignment.
- Create and maintain updated technical documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and inventory for audit and management review.
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects such as hardware refreshes and alignment initiatives.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or in IT Infrastructure operations.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, VMware (VCA/VCP), or Red Hat (RHCSA/RHCE) are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Middleware tools (IBM WebSphere) and Linux Red Hat Operating Systems.
- Experience managing virtualized environments and enterprise backup/storage systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and system integration solutions.
- Familiarity with firewall rules, network access reviews, and site-to-site connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying root causes of recurring issues and understanding user demands.
- High attention to detail, especially regarding compliance, internal controls, and audit activities.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) for coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player with a customer-focused attitude.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with the banking industry is a plus.
