Plant Supervisor | For Sabangan, Mountain Province  

Will be responsible for the implementation and proper execution of plant operations and maintenance activities of the grid which includes electrical, mechanical, and civil works.

• Supervises the implementation of standard operating procedures, maintenance and work instructions of all plants in the grid.
• Conducts site inspection on equipment and structures from weir to power plant, and checks for possible abnormalities.
• Ensures that expenses are within approved budget by monitoring and controlling operations and maintenance expenses including overtime.
• Ensures proper manpower distribution of the team to immediately respond to operations call for maintenance or repairs.
• Ensures availability of needed resources in the plants by conducting regular site inspection, checking and reporting.
• Looks after the inventory of spare parts (electrical, mechanical, and civil materials) and ensures availability of materials needed for operations and maintenance as well as equipment and tools requirement.
• Monitors and controls expenses on manpower, operations and maintenance or repairs.
• Checks billing requests and charging of overtime and materials to avoid variances in the budget.
• Supervises the implementation of work orders or projects and ensures that projects are done within schedule, quality, and budget.
• Prepares monthly accomplishment reports on maintenance and repair and submits to immediate superior. Reports abnormalities observed and makes necessary recommendations, if possible.
• Supervises contracted works in the plant and other related facilities.
• Prepares monthly operations report (generation, losses, costing, variance reports, and monthly activities) and submits to immediate superior for review.
• Ensures that corrective and preventive maintenance are conducted by the team.
• Ensures preparation of annual budget (short and long term) and discusses annual plans/programs and budget for materials and plant supplies to the team.
• Implements company policies in the grid and ensure that safety measures are complied with at all times.
• Schedules and coordinates monthly grid meetings to discuss updates on KPI, and other issues and concerns or the team pertaining to operations and maintenance. Ensures that Key Performance Indicators are attained.
• Conducts Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Problem Solving and Decision Making (PSDM) and Risk Assessment Management as the need arises.
• Ensures compliance to ISO requirements and Implements Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and determination of Controls (ORMP)/Aspect Impact Assessment on operations and maintenance activities in the grid.
• Ensures that INYOvation Projects for Operations and Maintenance are developed, approved, and implemented.

During Rehabilitation Period

• Prepares plans and budget for the rehabilitation work of the plant and submits these reports to immediate superior for approval.
• Supervises and implements electro-mechanical and civil rehabilitation works and ensures that repairs are done within quality, schedule and approved budget.
• Updates rehabilitation plans and budget based on accomplishment report.

• Must be a Licensed Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil)
• Must have extensive knowledge on the Philippine Grid Code and Philippine Electrical and Mechanical Code
• Possesses strong leadership capabilities and above average analytical skills
• Knowledgeable on project management preferably agile project management
• With at least three (3) years of leadership experience
• With at least five (5) years of related work experience in Hydro Power Plant
