Job Description

Algoritma is founded with the purpose of making data science accessible to everybody. We organize programming workshops and data science bootcamps that adopt a learn-by-building approach suited to beginners and non-programmers.

Algoritma is looking for Corporate Development (B2B Sales) based in Jakarta. This position will be reporting to the Corporate Development Lead and Head of Business Development.

Ecosystem Outreach (25%)

  • Building relationships and partnerships with corporates, startups, university and other strategic partners.

Corporate Outreach, Relationship Management, and Sales (50%)

  • Identifying and reaching out to potential customers through various channels, such as cold-calling, email, and networking events.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers within the target organization and understanding deeply the corporate’s needs and objectives.
  • Presenting the benefits and features of the company's products or services to potential customers, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Negotiating pricing and contract terms with customers, and closing deals. – Ensure that contracts are signed and billed.
  • Sell corporate packages according to their needs.
  • Organizing corporate interview sessions and preparation of students.
  • Together with the Program Manager, coordinate the scheduling of corporate orientation meetings and consultative visits.
  • Maintain relationships with corporate PICs Building local and regional databases of corporates who have interests in data science and building a team.
  • Research on the current data utilization trend of the target corporation.

Project Management (15%)

  • Prioritize projects and issues to ensure critical items are identified and worked as a priority to meet deliverables
  • Plan, organize and execute projects, and coordinate cross-functional resources when needed to get projects done.
  • Tracking and reporting on sales performance metrics and using data to inform sales strategies.

Internal Collaboration (10%)

  • Collaborating with other teams within the company, such as marketing, project management, product, finance and operations, to ensure a smooth sales process and positive customer experience.
  • Plan and execute Algoritma activities across Indonesia together with the Marketing and Operations team.
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing departments to develop and create successful programs in partnership, mentorship, and events.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or any related fields.
  • Minimum 1+ years of proven working experience in B2B Sales field & selling Corporate Training.
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation.
  • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing demonstrated sales success
  • Familiarity with CRM tools would be a plus

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, presentation skill, negotiation skill as well as a deep understanding of the company's products and the industry in which it operates.
  • Initiative and attention to detail.
  • Strong interest in the discourse around technology, startups, data science.
  • High integrity, strong in multitasking, good problem solving (critical, strategic and evaluative thinking), time management, and able to work independently or within a team.
  • Proactive, flexible, and be willing to take on any project and deliver on time, large or small - including setting up for events and cleaning as needed.
