Video Editor  

A Junior Video editor is responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. You will work closely with a Senior Video Editor under the supervision of the Creative Director to produce high-quality work.

Job Responsibilities

• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience.
• Take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications.
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity.
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects.
• Create rough and final cuts.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video editing
• Improve video and sound quality using Adobe Software
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
• Work with our creative teammates
• Regularly collaborate with the marketing team
• Follow the company's brand guidelines
• Present to senior management
• Help Develop Storyboarding, Scripting, and the overall Strategy for each video

Job Qualifications

• At least one (1) year working with video editing software
• Keen attention to detail
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced agency team environment
• Must be amenable to work in BGC, Taguig
