Strategic Category Development Executive/Lead  

• Identify and source for strategic brands, which can strengthen or complement the existing product offerings on our commerce platform Tokosmart, or opportunistic trades arising from market inefficiencies.
• Develop and execute optimal category strategy for these new brands, covering pricing, promotions, distribution coverage, availability, and distribution margin to expand digital sales.
• Partner with Supply Chain team and Finance to manage inventory levels and wastage.
• Full P&L responsibility for newly developed brands or trades, including revenue, margin, wastage and other income.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in merchandising/FMCG/distribution. Candidates that has displayed a deep understanding to the role’s objectives or with more relevant work experience may be directly considered for the lead role.
• Possess a growth mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Independent self-starter with high ownership in driving expansion of Bizzy Distribution’s vision
• Must be able to exercise sound business judgement, think strategically, analyse critically, and act tactically.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to present confidently to senior management and the ability to influence others.
• Comfortable with and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Prior experience in a category management role in the FMCG or ecommerce field.
• Experience with principal/vendor management.
• Strong negotiating, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
