Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality and timely service.
- Design, update, and execute menu concepts that support the music lounge experience and commercial targets.
- Control food cost, waste, and inventory to achieve profitability targets.
- Train, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff performance.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, taste, and consistency.
- Coordinate with bar, service, and event teams for promotions, special events, and theme nights.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and operational readiness.
- Prepare reports related to food cost, kitchen performance, and operational improvements.
- Be flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualilfication
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior kitchen leadership role (Executive Chef / Head Chef), preferably in music lounge, upscale bar, nightclub, or lifestyle F&B.
- Strong background in modern international cuisine with good understanding of bar food, sharing plates, and late-night dining concepts.
- Proven ability to develop creative menus aligned with brand identity, music theme, and target market.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with experience handling large kitchen teams.
- Strong knowledge of food costing, inventory control, and budget management.
- Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene standards (HACCP), and kitchen SOPs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, especially during peak hours and events.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with management, bar team, and marketing/creative teams.
- Passionate about food trends, presentation, and guest experience.
- Culinary degree or professional certification is preferred.
