Developer | SQL Server  

The SQL Server Developer's role is to assist in new projects and help support and maintain the existing data warehouse environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Enhancement and maintenance of existing data warehouse
• Data mart development and support
• Creating new reports to help support the business
• Maintenance and support of the existing reporting portfolio
• Stakeholder engagement
• Requirements gathering
• Action other tasks or duties due to business exigencies or as deemed necessary by Management to achieve business goals

Critical Challenges and Responsibilities:

• Strong research, analytical skills to build and maintain a robust MIS reporting system catering for specific (and ad-hoc) stakeholder information requirements
• Drive engagement and support from Management team on MIS development strategies
• Maintain MIS quality assurance
• Provide analytical insights to the Management, Sales and Risk management teams (and solutions) to assist in managing for sustainable growth of the Columbus loan portfolio

Knowledge, Qualifications, and Competencies:

• Strong SQL Server Development skills – Working with stored procedures, functions and views. Query and index tuning are also important.
• Power BI experience
• SSRS Development skills
• SSIS Development skills
• Working with Data warehouses / Data marts and experience with star scheme
• Experience in the financial services industry
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role is a MUST
