Job Description
Gear Inc is seeking a Human Resource Counselor working closely with various stakeholders to provide assessment, intervention and consultation to address emotional / behavioral needs and difficulties of employees.
- Provides counseling and psychotherapy to clients; prepares treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs; provides therapeutic crisis intervention as needed.
- Collects data about clients through interview, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques; evaluates data to identify causes of problems and to determine proper therapeutic approach or referral to other specialists.
- Leads clients in the development of skills and strategies to deal with their problems.
- Encourages clients to express their feelings and to discuss what is happening in their lives and helps them develop insight into themselves.
- Facilitates individual and group therapy sessions.
- Evaluates clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health.
- Monitors progress throughout the treatment plan.
- Provides mental health awareness, assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services.
- Develops and implements treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
- Will be responsible for planning and overseeing well-being programs within the site, from the initial ideation through completion.
- Have strong ability to coordinate with other parties and processes to deliver well-being programs on time, with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possesses master’s degree of organizational psychology or clinical psychology.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience either as proven work experience as a counselor in a clinical or organizational setting.
- Possesses core skill in performing psychological assessments, psychological therapy for individuals and groups.
- Outstanding interpersonal and therapeutic relationship skills.
- Broad knowledge of learning & development and employee relations.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Experienced in design, implement and manage wellness programs for groups as well as individuals.
- Possesses genuine listening skills and can provide short-term clinical interventions such as CBT, motivational Interviewing, crisis intervention, solution-focused techniques and positive psychology.
- MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) competency.
- Willing to work in Bali, Indonesia.
- Willing to work in a shifting schedule and adapt to the 24/7 business operations needs.
- Able to work during weekends and holidays.
