Job Description
Development Duties
- System Design Duties
- Participate in API design
- Participate in system architecture design
- Participate in system database design
- Programming Duties
- Implement UI/UX designs related to a specific project
- Implement functions related to a specified project
- Perform code reviews for mobile app related code
- Identify API changes needed to improve/ fix issues with the mobile application
- Fix reported bugs as needed
- Database Development
- Perform necessary database updates if a function requires a change in the database schema
- Infrastructure Management
- Implement system infrastructure in connection to the mobile application
- Maintain system infrastructure in connection to the mobile application
- Operations
- Investigate and resolve mobile application related issues as reported
- Perform requested operational tasks in connection with the mobile application as requested by business unit (this includes but not limited to: generating reports, batch setup of accounts, etc..)
Other Duties
- Perform testing when necessary, on mobile related issues
- Join client meetings to clarify anything related to the implementation of a project or service.
- Communicate with the client to clarify the implementation of certain items as well as send updates.
- Develop company code libraries
- Research for tools, processes and development of standards that will help the company perform more efficiently
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Can easily and comfortably work with a team composed of different roles (dev, QA, SA, PM)
- Proactive
- Can work autonomously
- Eager to work in a fast-paced environment
- People who are not overconfident in their own knowledge and can work with humility.
- Develops with respect to their colleagues.
- Previous Experience: At least 1 year experience on mobile applications development + 1 year experience working on any web development framework
- Mobile framework: Flutter
- Database: MYSQL or any other relational database management system
- Knowledge in version control (any of the ff: Git, Mercurial, SVN)
- Knowledge in Andriod, IOS, or any mobile framework similar to Flutter is a plus
- Can speak Japanese a plus
