
Job Description
We are looking to immediately fill an open Accounting Administrative Assistant position. In this role, you would be responsible for assisting the Accounting department across a variety of administrative and entry-level tasks to support our day-to-day transactions, including expenses, among others. Your responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining cost reports, and managing invoices. If you have an accounting (or legal) background and are interested in procedures like tax management and budget preparation, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll help maintain our company’s financial health and make sure we use our resources beneficially.
Responsibilities
- Handling departmental administrative tasks, including data entry, coding bills, managing inboxes, etc.
- Processing daily accounting transactions (e.g., cash receipts, AP invoices, expense backup, etc.)
- Send out invoices and respond to email inquiries regarding invoices and statements
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3+ years of office administrative, accounting, and/or legal experience is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
