- Create a structured model for “Familiarity vs Serendipity” assortment balance. Recommend refresh strategies to modernize category relevance.
- Identify and evaluate external publishers aligned with each store concept’s identity. Influence negotiations from a strategic standpoint.
- Develop strategic Planogram frameworks for book display where familiarity meets serendipity.
- Interpret velocity, sell-through, inventory turnover, and space productivity. Provide strategic direction for book acquiring decisions.
- Understand cultural currents that affect book relevance.
Minimum Qualifications
Background: 2-3 years of experience in book category specialists, senior book curators, brand/planning strategists with literary background.

- Strong grasp of cultural book ecosystems (local, regional, and global) and have the ability to translate insights into strategic recommendation of potential Publishers & Titles.
