Job Description
- Perform inspections and maintenance on network hardware & software, ensuring system functionality, capacity, and performance.
- Troubleshoot incidents related to network devices and firewalls.
- Adjust configurations and settings to optimize system performance.
- Assist with reconfiguring or addressing technical needs related to IT service and Data Center integration.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance, patch updates, and system upgrades for network devices and firewalls.
- Monitor network activity to detect potential threats or suspicious behavior.
- Handle security incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessments and identify network security vulnerabilities.
- Document security procedures and incident reports for internal use.
- Be available for support outside office hours, as needed, for incident troubleshooting and project assistance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.).
- Experience with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Network and/or IT Security certifications at the Associate level or higher.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
