Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Merchandise Planning & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to align with company goals and market trends.
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.
    • Forecast sales and inventory needs to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Determine product assortments, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
    • Monitor inventory performance and make adjustments as needed.
    • Work with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
    • Evaluate new vendors and products.
  • Store Execution:
    • Ensure products are displayed effectively and attractively in stores.
    • Monitor store inventory and make adjustments as needed.
    • Work with store personnel to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans.
  • Sales Performance:
    • Collaborate with sales teams to achieve revenue goals.
    • Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven 5 - 10 years experience in merchandising or similar field;
  • Familiarity with luxury watch or high-end brand (retail fashion & accessories) industry, a plus;
  • Experience in SM consignment and other department stores;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret sales data and customer insights;
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent visual and creative flair, with a keen eye for design and an understanding of current retail trends;
  • Skillful in developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies;
  • Knowledge of market trends and principles;
  • No buying/purchasing required;
  • Adept in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline;
  • Must be residing in Manila or willing to be assigned at Binondo Manila;
  • Can start immediately.
