Position Title : Showroom Supervisor
Reports To : Sales Manager
Location : South Jakarta
Employee Type : Full Time
Job Summary:
The Showroom Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing all showroom operations, including staff management, sales performance, inventory control, and customer service excellence. This position plays a key role in ensuring the showroom is well-organized, visually appealing, and aligned with the company’s brand standards. Candidates with experience in the furniture, household products, or retail industry are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Staff Management :
- Lead, motivate, and train the showroom team to achieve high performance.
- Assign tasks, prepare work schedules, and conduct regular team meetings.
- Provide ongoing coaching, supervision, and performance evaluations for staff.
2. Sales and Performance :
- Ensure monthly and annual sales targets are achieved or exceeded.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and prepare accurate sales reports.
- Implement promotional activities and effective merchandising strategies to boost sales.
3. Operations and Maintenance :
- Oversee daily showroom operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper replenishment of products.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and visual appeal of the showroom to create an inviting customer experience.
4. Customer Service :
- Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered by the showroom team.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.
5. Financial and Security :
- Monitor and control showroom operational expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Manage cash handling, daily sales transactions, and financial reporting.
- Ensure proper implementation of security measures to protect company assets and personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirement :
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in showroom or retail operations, preferably in furniture or household products.
- Female candidates are preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of retail sales operations, merchandising, and inventory control.
- Analytical ability to evaluate sales performance and generate reports.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under sales targets and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, honest, and result-driven.
- Willing to work on weekends or public holidays (shift schedule) when required.
