Site Manager  

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily construction activities

• Coordinate multiple contractors and installation teams working in parallel

• Organize daily priorities and 1–2 week look-ahead plans with the Project Manager

• Control sequencing and interfaces between different trades

• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications and workmanship standards

• Identify technical problems and clashes early and propose practical solutions

• Monitor manpower, productivity, schedule and actual site progress

• Manage QA/QC, inspections, defects and corrective works

• Check incoming materials against approved specifications, quantities and quality

• Enforce HSE requirements and general site discipline

• Maintain clear records of instructions, inspections, defects and contractor commitments

• Provide concise reporting: what was completed, what is delayed, why, who is responsible and what happens next

• Escalate critical technical, quality, schedule or contractor issues immediately

The Project Manager retains overall responsibility for budget, contracts, master schedule and project-wide coordination. The Site Manager must nevertheless be capable of independently organizing and controlling the construction process on site and ensuring that decisions translate into actual completed work.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Site Manager to take daily ownership of construction activities on site and act as the Project Manager’s main representative during execution.

This is primarily a site-based role. We need someone focused on actual construction progress and results — not simply working hours, meetings and reporting.

Candidate Profile

• 5–7+ years of practical construction/site experience

• Strong technical background in civil/structural works with good understanding of architectural and MEP coordination

• Hotel, hospitality, luxury villa or complex fit-out experience is highly preferred

• Able to read drawings and independently identify construction errors, design conflicts, quality issues and constructability problems

• Strong experience managing several subcontractors, mandors and specialist installation teams simultaneously

• Able to coordinate interfaces and sequencing between civil, architectural, MEP, façade, waterproofing and finishing works

• Strong QA/QC, inspection, snagging and material acceptance experience

• Able to verify actual manpower, productivity and physical progress instead of relying only on contractor reports

• Practical understanding of HSE and ability to enforce site discipline

• Familiar with Indonesian construction methods, materials, contractors and typical site practices

• Bahasa Indonesia essential; working English required
