Senior System Engineer  

• Design, implement, and manage complex IT infrastructure environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid).
• Lead system architecture planning, including compute, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Ensure system availability, performance, scalability, and security across all environments.
• Manage and optimize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem infrastructure.
• Oversee system monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues.
• Define and enforce infrastructure standards, policies, and best practices.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Network, and Application teams.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–8+ years of experience in system engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience managing Linux and/or Windows server environments.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
• Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and hardening techniques.
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
