Responsibilities:
- Analyze and identify areas that can be improved
- Design, build, and maintain production machine learning models
- Coordinate with other teams, specifically the engineering team, to integrate models into various existing processes
- Extract structured data from unstructured data
- Convert business processes into automated models
- Measure accuracy of model and design processes that gradually improve accuracy
- Collaborate with different teams to understand data needs and provide solutions
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, or related technical field is preferred
- Experience designing, developing/training and deploying production-level models
- Have a holistic understanding of general machine learning algorithms and what situation they are good/not good for and why
- Proficiency in Python is preferred
- Past experience with NLP is a plus
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work for our sister company business units
