- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning processes.
- Coordinate and oversee external audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software SAP, Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and professional development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
