The beginnings of Rizal Poultry and Livestock Association, Inc. (RPLAI) can be traced from the unification of nine (9) poultry raisers in San Mateo and Rodriguez (formerly Montalban) towns in Rizal way back in May 1975. These enterprising farmers bound together to create a conduit for promotion and marketing arm for their produce through which they can provide jobs deserving individuals. More popularly known as “Rizal Poultry”, it is often called us the “Sleeping Giant of Rizal”. Its success must be greatly attributed to the founders who had the unceasing will and conviction to make a difference in doing business. It earned its present stature through hardworking and dedicated employees as well as its loyal customers and business partners. After surviving three decades in an industry constantly beleaguered by economic difficulties and now adversely challenged by the impact of globalization, Rizal Poultry has certainly gone long long way.
