Incorporated on October 10, 1960, and originally known as First Continental Assurance Company, Inc., the company was taken over by the Professional Investment Group of Dr. Rommel G. Cariño on November 21, 2001, and was renamed “STERLING INSURANCE COMPANY, INCORPORATED”. The company has fully complied with the mandatory net worth of Php1,300,000,000.00 and its paid-up capital has been increased to Php1,387,179,100.00 as of December 31, 2022. With the management, headed by Atty. Nora M. Malubay as its Chairman of the Board of Directors, the company is determined to expand its organization and has been fully complemented with highly qualified and experienced management team known to be an institution in the insurance industry. At present, the company is operating more than forty (52) branches and business development offices with strategic location in Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Expansion of business operations is on-going, and the company will continue to commit its services nationwide until all key cities and municipalities in the country will be adequately catered.
