Job Description

The jobholder contributes to the growth and profitability of Stradcom Corporation through the following:

  • Conduct of Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to determine the training needs of employees
  • Preparation of the Annual Training Master Plan (TMP)
  • Evaluation of course outlines/programs submitted by different training consultants/providers for specialized knowledge and skills training where no expertise is available from within

Training Development

  • Conducts TNA through focused-group discussions and data gathered from the latest performance appraisal forms of employees;
  • Reviews and coordinates TNA results with department/division heads for training and development needs and activities of their staff;
  • Prepares the Annual TMP for the year based on the results of TNA;
  • Prepares the Training Calendar for the year based on approved TMP;
  • Sources for external training consultants/providers for training and development programs/activities where no internal subject matter experts are available;
  • Reviews the proposals of training consultants/providers to ensure that training objectives, course contents, methodologies to be applied and training cost meet the requirements and budget of the Company;
  • Verifies technical and non-technical training requests of employees against approved TMP;
  • Ensures that the TMP is implemented according to the training calendar and the approved budget;
  • Ensures that the provision of the training contracts based on approved Training Policies and Procedures are properly implemented;
  • Coordinates and confers training schedule to concerned employees via email;
  • Ensures to get feedback from employees who attended a training course through completion and consolidation of applicable training feedback form to select a better training provider and improve future trainings; and,
  • Oversees the facilitation and conduct of the New Employee Orientation (NEO) Program and other subject matter of his/her expertise to targeted participants.

Other Tasks

  • Coordinates the logistics needed (food & venue arrangement, notice/invitation to participants, IDs, PowerPoint presentation, forms, manuals, and other training materials) for each of the scheduled training & development programs specifically conducted within office premises;
  • Maintains employee training database as well as pertinent employee training records, files, equipment and other training materials for monitoring and tracking of employee skills development;
  • Consolidates and files approved Training Request Forms, documents for public/in-house seminars and invitations/proposals of training providers;
  • Ensures regular maintenance of the training room facility for effective delivery of training;
  • Reviews and ensures complete, accurate and on-time submission of the Monthly Management Report and other reports as required relating to training and development;
  • Actively participates and provides assistance during Company events and activities; and,
  • Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • AB/BS Psychology, BS Management or Behavioral Science or any related field
  • With at least three (3) years of experience in Human Resources with specialization in Learning and Development
  • Ability to facilitate/conduct and design training programs
  • Knowledge and skills in training and development
  • Proficient in MSOffice applications (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation and egotiation skills
