Job Description
- Collaborate with the Transition Engineers and Lead in the transitioning of projects into production services, using standard transition process.
- Collects results of service testing, consolidates them, and submits them to Senior Transition Engineer/Transition Lead.
- Participate in regular meetings for the Project Implementation and Service Transition.
- Consolidate all project documentation and submit it to Senior Transition Engineer/Transition Lead.
- Assist in the change management for internal Service Operations and Service Engineering changes. Follows standard procedures for efficient and prompt handling of all changes to IT infrastructure, whether it’s rolling out new services, managing existing ones, or resolving problems in the code. Effective change management provides context and transparency to avoid bottlenecks, while minimizing risk.
- Support in the implementation of approved contractual changes.
- Contributes to the creation, sharing, use, and management of knowledge and information pertaining to existing Clients, Infrastructure, Platforms, Technical Security Controls, and Projects.
- Contribute to the planning, delegation, monitoring, and maintenance of control of internal and external projects related to Managed ICT Service delivery, which meet the customer requirements and contractual obligations.
- Assist in the provisioning of documentation needed for milestone payments.
- Aid in the coordination of project movement to production environments where end users can consume them.
- Aid in the maintenance of the integrity and consistency of the live environment and ensures that teams only release thoroughly tested and approved changes.
- Provide support in the onboarding and offboarding of Clients, Client Services, Service Operations, and Service Engineering.
- Assist in test cases, its introduction to the test case catalogues, and proper assignment of test cases to Testers.
- Perform other tasks and duties as may be assigned by the MICTS – Service Transition Management Head.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Education
- Preferably with a degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or related courses.
- Minimum Experience/training
- Experience in coordination, presentation, reporting.
- Experience in client interactions.
- ITIL 4 Foundation (Optional)
- Competency
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Good presentation or storytelling techniques.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Analytical and problem-solver.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, proactive, and can handle uncertainty.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
