Tri-Phil International, Inc.

Tri-Phil International, Inc. is an affiliate of TRION Corporation of Osaka, Japan, founded in 1968 by Mr. Akio Aoki. Trion began as a manufacturer and exporter of baseball gloves for Rawlings Sporting Goods, eventually moving production overseas. This led to the establishment of Tri-Phil in 1988, initially manufacturing exclusively for Rawlings under a Cut-Make-Trim (CMT) arrangement. Over the years, Tri-Phil expanded its baseball glove business to leading brands including Mizuno, Asics, and Rawlings Japan, building a reputation for world-class craftsmanship and expertise in professional and customized gloves. Its Proline facility produces approximately 12,000 professional and custom gloves per season, demonstrating its specialized manufacturing capability. In 1997, Tri-Phil diversified into lacrosse gloves through an exclusive supply relationship with Warrior, later expanding to support Warrior and Brine's lacrosse business and Warrior hockey products. Its ability to deliver high-quality customized gloves with short lead times has strengthened its position as a key supplier in the market. Tri-Phil also diversified into leather and fashion bags in 1996, leveraging its glove-making expertise and craftsmanship to manufacture specialty bags under Trion’s private label. In 2012, it began producing luxury leather bags and small leather goods for Rawlings, using baseball glove leather. Today, Tri-Phil continues to build on its long-standing exclusive manufacturing and supply partnerships, leveraging Japanese craftsmanship, product expertise, customization capability, and manufacturing excellence to deepen relationships with existing customers and pursue new business opportunities.
