Senior Data Scientist Geospatial  

As a Data Scientist, you will be instrumental in leveraging AI to solve business challenges and enhance operations. Your key responsibilities include:

Partnering with stakeholders to identify and align AI opportunities.

Leading AI research, experimentation, and prototype development.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions.

Managing AI projects from inception to deployment.

Ensuring data quality and compliance while curating diverse data sources.

Fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.

Acting as an AI subject matter expert, providing guidance and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Contributing to publications in relevant fields.

Required Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python for data science (Jupyter notebooks).

Experience with data science platforms (e.g., Databricks, Cloudera).

Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

SQL proficiency and experience with NoSQL databases.

Ability to manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proficiency in Git for version control.

Familiarity with Google Earth Engine and geospatial analytics tools/concepts.

Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly) and dashboarding tools (PowerBI, Tableau).

Basic understanding of JavaScript.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.

Deep understanding of fundamental AI concepts (ML, deep learning).

Experience with A/B testing and MVP development.

Knowledge of database principles and system architecture/performance optimization.

Ability to automate tasks (scripting) and perform web scraping.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.

Self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Expertise in Geospatial Analysis and Programming (GIS software, Python/R geospatial libraries).
