IT System Analyst  

• Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across life insurance modules (POS, Claim, Premium, Core System).
• Validate data and processes through SQL queries and backend testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure test coverage aligns with business workflows.
• Execute testing on L400/LifeAsia systems and related applications, including core, front-end, and integration layers.
• Prepare comprehensive test documentation, logs, and reports for internal and client reviews.
• Support production deployment, perform post-release verification, and ensure issues are properly resolved.
• Participate in requirement review, product setup, and change request testing.
• Provide ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on testing outcomes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the QA and software development lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or Software Development, in the life insurance industry.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of SDLC and STLC, including experience in requirement gathering, test case creation, and functional specification documentation.
• Experience handling front-end, integration, and core applications related to life insurance.
• Familiar with feature testing for After Sales (POS, Claim, Premium) and IFRS17 testing is an advantage.
• Experience in L400 / LifeAsia insurance systems, including product setup and workflow analysis.
• Proficient in SQL (DML commands) for data validation and backend testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing, test planning, and test case execution using tools such as JIRA or equivalent.
• Experience in mobile app (Android/iOS), web, and integration testing is a plus.
• Understanding of COBOL, DB2, IBM i (mainframe), or related systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and self-management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and high accountability.
