Quality Assurance Engineer  

The Quality Assurance Engineer provides support in developing and implementing quality assurance standards and measures within the project. This role also writes test cases/scripts, creates and executes functional tests, tracks defects and fixes, and reports on each's progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs and writes Test Cases and Test Scripts.
Reports to the Project Manager / QA Lead on the testing status of QA assignments.
Effective Defect Reporting and Tracking of open defects up to closure.
Assist in the investigation for raised defects and quality concerns.
Provision of QA execution recommendations to project teams.
Assists Jr QA resources on QA practices and activities

• Extensive mobile application testing experience both android and iOS
• Extensive experience in mobile application testing using real devices
• 3 year minimum experience as Quality Assurance
• Test Design and Execution (identifying, creating, and executing test cases for testing) and defect management (submitting and tracking defects to closure)
• Experience testing financial related applications - property or investment software, leasing, payments, banking, accounting.
• Experience supporting business units perform UAT. (Testing in production environment)
• Experiene with Business Intelligence reporting (BI Reporting) or Experience in data visualization and monitoring platforms like Power BI, Grafana or similar.
• Experience generating reports or dashboards using test management tools like JIRA.
• Automation Experience - using UIPath
• Has good communication skill and is comfortable in the English language.
• Strong stakeholder management: Experience communicating, coordinating, reporting with different stakeholders outside of the development team - like communication to business or clients, or management and executives.
• Comfortable working in Australian shift (5am to 2pm shift)
