About the role

YONDU INC.' is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join our dynamic team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our software engineering squad, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Java-based applications that are critical to the success of our business. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software applications
Develop and enhance Java-based applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the integrity and reliability of our software systems
Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and best practices, and share your knowledge with the team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and practices
Mentor and guide junior members of the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications

What we're looking for

5-8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java
Expertise in designing and implementing Java-based applications, including experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, React, Android, Etc.
Proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Hands-on experience in agile software development methodologies and tools
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
