Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI)  

Summary:
As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in discussions to share insights and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and performance.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance application development processes.
- Document application processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.

(Hybrid Set-up: 2x a week onsite)

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data modeling and visualization techniques.
- Experience in integrating Power BI with various data sources.
- Ability to create interactive dashboards and reports that meet user needs.

Additional MUST HAVES:

• Experience in ADF and Azure Data Bricks.
• Data Modelling: Designing and building data models that enable efficient data analysis, including creating relationships between different data tables and optimizing data structures for performance.
• Data Transformations: Skills in cleaning, shaping, and transforming data via Power Query, DAX or M language. This allows data to be prepared for analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of Data Visualization Principles in Power BI: Knowing how to create visually appealing and informative reports. This involves selecting the right type of visualizations and designing reports that effectively communicate data insights.
• At least 3-4 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI
