- Build and maintain a strong vendor pipeline aligned with category sales targets and SKU roadmap.
- Identify and source from first-upstream suppliers (importers, farms, fishermen, RPA, large poultry producers).
- Evaluate vendor readiness for high-turn SKUs (capacity, specs, cost).
- Drive full onboarding from prospect to active supplier.
- Negotiate pricing, trading terms, and supply agreements to ensure competitive cost and healthy margins.
- Secure vendor promotions and collaboration programs to boost topline without over-discounting.
- Work with upstream teams to test and launch value-added SKUs (cut, prepped, frozen-ready).
- Expand SKU assortment based on market demand and business needs.
- Manage day-to-day operations with category teams (50% new sourcing, 50% vendor maintenance).
- Strengthen supplier partnerships to ensure supply reliability and better commercial terms.
- Analyze vendor performance, pricing, margins, and supply SLA using basic data tools (pivot, Vlookup/Xlookup, Sum/Count/Avg, formulas).
- Present insights clearly to finance, operations, and category stakeholders.
- Support B2B sales and business development for frozen product needs.
- Understand Astro’s dark store/e-grocery business model, USP, and competitive landscape.
Kualifikasi Minimum
- 4–6 years of experience in vendor acquisition, sourcing, procurement, category management, or business development (fresh/frozen preferred).
- Strong knowledge of fresh & frozen supply chains, especially meat and seafood.
- Background from relevant industries: startup, retail, FMCG, trading, poultry, or agribusiness.
- Proven negotiation skills with experience handling large vendors or suppliers.
- Data-driven and detail-oriented; able to analyze pricing, margins, vendor performance, and supply SLA.
- Proficient in basic data tools: pivot tables, Vlookup/Xlookup, Sum/Count/Avg and dataset imports.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across finance, operations, and category teams.
- Ability to balance both new vendor acquisition and existing vendor management.
- Understanding of dark store / e-grocery business models, industry dynamics, and competitive landscape.
