Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Major activities or end results for which this position is held accountable

1. Driving of achievements

  • Develop and execute Sales plan to secure order for the Company’s products, solutions and services, and to achieve the sales and income target as assigned
  • Prepare annual Sales, profits forecast, and projection to the Department Manager. Submit periodic sales reports including activities plan with the most updated order closing date to Department Manager
  • Plan and prepare Supplier visit, technical seminars, solution / product demonstration to prospect customers in a professional and high-quality manner. Liaise with customers and suppliers on follow-up action.

2. Collaboration with

  • Conduct regular visits to customers, establish and strengthen the relationship with customers to support long-term Sales objective as well as provide them technical support, commercial support, and update innovative solutions. Attend to customers’ complaints and enquiries with professionalism and integrity
  • Prepare product costing and to work out quotation for customers. Coordinate with Customer Service, Logistics, and related parties to ensure smooth and continuous improvement of ordering process, and delivery services to meet and surpass customer expectations.

3. Development of strategies

  • Identify and develop new customers and new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration. Regularly update the project pipelines in C4C. Inform the Department Manager and Customer Service for any changes on the customer’s contact details. Coordinate on technical support including product sample for testing, responsible for following up from sample submission until commercialization stage.

4. Manage and drive implementation

  • Proactively investigate and regularly update customer needs, market trends, and new products / or solutions launched by competitors to the Department Manager to initiate counter strategies
  • Manage and project necessary inventory level for each product / business situation by utilizing ‘MRP’ wherever applicable to ensure correct stock level, and efficiency inventory level
  • Attend all necessary project site meetings when required in order to ensure smooth hand-over
  • Responsible for following up on sales made by monitoring and ensuring all collections are within credit terms granted by the Company. Immediately report potential uncollectible debts to the Department Manager and Finance department for appropriate further action.

5. Compliance internal

  • To adhere to internal guidelines set for transparent and fair business dealings.
  • Adhere to process correction/improvement as a result from audit examination conducted to the company.
  • Monitor process adherence and or deviations by the sales team and conduct correctional actions when required.
  • Provide/prepare all necessary documentation which might be requested from by an Auditing firm.

6. EHS

  • Comply with Company’s Code of Conducts, Company’s Quality Management System as well as Company’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and work procedures.
  • To comply with all relevant EHS legal and other requirements associated with the job functions and responsibilities
  • To comply with all EHS requirements affecting the operations, including those affecting the customers, suppliers and contractors supplying and serving the departments
  • To participate in EHS programs
  • To follow the EHS procedures and work instructions

7. Compliance external

  • To ensure clients adhere to Jebsen & Jessen Ingredients (P) Inc process, guidelines in terms of doing business transactions

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • Graduate of the following courses: BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering or any related Science course.
  • At least 1-3 years of sales or technical experience selling/managing product application of raw material for Personal Care industry
  • 5 years experiences in Sales and Marketing preferably in the assigned Industry is an advantage
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications and SAP C4C sales module
  • Strong Sales acumen and self-motivation
