QA Engineer

• You'll test simple features, learn to write clear bug reports, and ask questions to grow. With support from your team, you'll begin understanding what makes a product truly reliable and user-friendly. This is your first step toward building better, more seamless experiences.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 1–3 years of experience in an Software QA Testing role.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical thoughts clearly and concisely.
• Manual Testing:
  • Ability to manage and execute tests using the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
  • Familiarity with various testing types: functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and E2E.
  • Proficiency in the defect management lifecycle.
• Methodology: Practical knowledge or experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Automation: Entry to mid-level proficiency.
• Testing Tools: (Experience with or a strong willingness to learn):
  • JIRA, Zephyr, Figma, and Confluence.
  • Postman (for API testing).
  • Playwright.
• Soft Skills: Assertive communicator, enthusiastic learner, accountability-driven, and proactive in seeking feedback for professional growth.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Certification: ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Automation: Direct exposure to automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium.
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with API testing.
• Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with HR, Payroll, or Accounting products and services.
• Specialized Testing: Experience with Performance and/or Accessibility testing.
