Job Description

• Manage daily accounting and tax transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to obtain missing documents and clarify accounting transactions.
• Perform the full accounting cycle, from reviewing source documents and preparing journal entries to the preparation of financial statements.
• Prepare and maintain the General Ledger, review account movements, and investigate unusual or unexplained changes.
• Prepare accruals, prepayments, depreciation, amortization, adjusting entries, and reversal entries as part of the monthly closing process.
• Assist in preparing other related working papers for internal reporting as part of the monthly closing process.
• Review payment vouchers and prepare withholding tax (WHT) certificates.
• Prepare tax calculations and tax reports in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
• Assist in preparing documents and supporting schedules for internal and external audits, tax reviews, and other compliance requirements.
• Manage and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems in timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Fiscal Administration, or other related fields from a reputable institution or university.
• High integrity in in performing assigned responsibilities
• Proficiency in English both verbal and written.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to work accurately.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to take initiative, streamline workflows, and solve problems independently.

Preferred

• Strong understanding of PSAK and IFRS.
• Previous experience in an accounting, tax, audit, or consulting firm.
• Have Tax Brevet A/B Certificate or any Accounting Certificate from reputable organizations.
• Experience in using Odoo and Talenta.
• Strong interest in utilizing technology to improve work efficiency.
