Deskripsi Pekerjaan

As Payroll:

  • Process payroll for the Group and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, and final pays.
  • Oversee procedures and processes, and manage inquiries and requests related to the preparation and distribution of payroll.
  • Ensures compliance with different government agencies related to payroll e.g., Expanded Withholding Tax, SSS, HDMF, PHIC, Annualization of compensation tax, Alphalist, and BIR Form 2316.
  • Monitors compliance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Implements improvement to processes, procedures, and workflow to create efficiencies.
  • Identifies and recommends updates to payroll software, systems, and procedures.
  • Ensures accurate accounting and reporting on all payroll-related feeds to finance. Performs and oversees accurate, correct, and timely payroll reconciliations and audits, and troubleshoots any issues that arise.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with new government regulations directly affecting employees’ compensation.

As Accounts Payable:

  • Collecting necessary documents from new suppliers for accreditation
  • Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges
  • Ensuring bills and payroll are recorded in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
  • Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs for separate entities and vendors
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
  • Reconciling invoices
  • Reconcile bank statement

General Responsibilities:

  • Escalates high-level issues and all service issues to his Supervisor.
  • Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
  • Reconciles various accounts on a monthly basis, bringing any discrepancies to the attention of the Manager. Assists Accounting team in month-end close.
  • Promotes teamwork and service through daily communications and coordination with team members in the Accounting Department and other departments.
  • Assist in compiling information and preparing responses to auditors during the annual external audit.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure readily available information.
  • Identifies areas for improvement and recommends to Management.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • Strong analytical and planning skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills;
  • Able to work in a hybrid work set-up
  • Work experience of at least 2 years
  • Knows how to do manual payroll and Accounts Payable
