Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations (Ops) Shared Services Lead to oversee the offshoring of our ops shared services from Singapore and Australia to Manila. The scope of the operation supports the sales and delivery operations.
This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, a deep understanding of ops shared services, and a proven track record in managing offshoring operations.


Key Responsibilities
Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for offshoring ops shared services.
  • Establish a clear strategy to the shared services centre by setting up a team organically within the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align offshoring initiatives to provide great service experience to the business while ensuring optimal costs.

Project Management

  • Lead the end-to-end project management of setting up the ops shared services centre, ensuring timely and successful transition.
  • Develop detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of offshored services.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals in Manila.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans.

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Singapore, Australia, and Manila.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for offshoring initiatives and subsequently on the operations.
  • Address any concerns, risks or issues raised by stakeholders and provide regular updates on project status during the set-up phase and during operational phase.
  • Alert and escalate any concerns, risks or issues early and work with stakeholder to resolve or mitigate.
  • Setup and Operation
  • Set up the ops shared services centre.
  • Identify and implement best practices for shared services processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve offshored services (e.g. introduce process improvement, automation, AI) to meet evolving business needs.
  • Proactively support business to identify new shared services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies.

    Financial and Business Case Management
  • Manage the budget for offshoring initiatives and ensure cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Track and report on financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimisation.

Provide half-yearly report on cost savings and improvements achieved.

Kualifikasi Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ops shared services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in managing offshoring initiatives and running offshore centres/ operations, preferably in a multinational organisation and prior experience working in Manila and/or Singapore.
