Regulatory and Compliance Supervisor  

Together with the Regulatory and Compliance Manager, the position holder is responsible for the management of activities relating to regulatory and compliance requirements for all ARI Renewable projects.

Outcomes Expected and Responsibilities:

• Establishes a strong working relationship with government agencies responsible for the policy and regulatory framework of renewable energy.
• Conducts research and develops reference materials to support External engagement plans.
• Stays current on relevant industry and government compliance programs related to renewable energy and provides updates regarding changes in legislation, regulations and other requirements that may result in organizational response.
• Facilitates timely acquisition of permits and approvals during the Pre Development, Development and Execution Stage of ARI Renewable Projects. Requirements may come from but not limited to the following agencies: ERC, NGCP, DOE, BOI as well as regulations under the EPIRA, RE Law, and other related power industry regulations.
• Manages and ensures the regular coordination of with various agencies such as DENR, NCIP, DPWH, NWRB, NIA, DAR or any other concerned agency for the acquisition of the necessary permits and approvals.
• Ensures complete documentation of compliance with external statutory, regulatory requirements and essential permits for handover to Operating BU.
• Reports progress of permit acquisitions to the top management including concerns and irregularities for proper action.
• Coordinates with other departments for the necessary information or assistance required for the preparation and processing of permits clearances.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a Bachelor’s Degree Holder in any related course
• Must have at least three (3) years relevant experience in the Power Industry or related experience in Stakeholder Engagement
• With at least one (1) year experience in managing a team
• Preferably has exposure in working with/for government agencies (ERC, DOE, NGCP, BOI)
• Preferably with Legal Management background
