Legal and Compliance Manager  

Legal Advisory & Strategy

1. Provide expert legal counsel to management and business units on corporate, commercial, insurance, and regulatory matters.
2. Monitor, analyze, and advise on legal and regulatory developments affecting the insurance industry.
3. Support strategic business decisions with clear, solutions-oriented legal recommendations.

Contract Management

1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including reinsurance, distribution, service provider, vendor, and corporate contracts.
2. Ensure all contractual arrangements comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Regulatory Compliance

1. Ensure adherence to OJK and other regulatory requirements.
2. Develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance frameworks, internal policies, and standard operating procedures.
3. Guide internal stakeholders on regulatory obligations.

Regulatory Reporting & Government Relations

1. Prepare and submit legal and compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Serve as the primary legal liaison with OJK and other relevant government authorities.
3. Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulators and industry associations.

Risk Management & Dispute Resolution

1. Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across business operations.
2. Support and/or manage dispute resolution, claims, and litigation processes when required.
3. Advise on risk mitigation strategies related to products, operations, and partnerships.
   

Corporate Governance

1. Support board and shareholder meetings, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and statutory obligations.
2. Maintain and manage all legal documentation, licenses, and company records.

• A bachelor’s degree in Law is mandatory; a Master’s degree (Magister Hukum) is preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a reputable law firm or insurance/financial services company.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian insurance law, corporate law, and OJK regulations.
• Strong skills in legal drafting, contract negotiation, and regulatory interpretation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and good command of English (written and spoken).
