Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.

Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance

Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity

Confidently ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members

Operate in an iterative mindset, focused on delivering improvements and value at high velocity

Work collaboratively with Product team members and Development team members to maintain high bar for quality in a fast-paced and iterative environment

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Collaborate with the squad (frontend, mobile, QA, and product teams) to implement and deliver features.

Ensure code quality through best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.

Optimize database queries and backend performance.

Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, or other technical issues.

Report technical progress, blockers, and improvement ideas directly to the Squad Lead.

Proficiency in Golang, Mongodb, Rabbitmq, Redis min. 3 years

Experience in designing and consuming APIs.

Solid knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and modern development workflows.

Understanding of API security principles (e.g., OAuth, JWT).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Clear and structured reporting to the Squad Lead.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Proactive attitude and a continuous learning mindset.
