Job Description
Job Summary:
The Procurement and CapEx Finance Senior Analyst plays a pivotal role in providing financial business partnering and support to the Corporate Procurement Group (CPG) while concurrently leading the overall Capital Expenditure (CapEx) management process. In this high-exposure role, the Analyst will collaborate with operational and strategic decision-makers both within and outside the Finance function.
As the Company future-proofs its systems and processes through digital transformation, the role may evolve to encompass Finance systems development initiatives. The Analyst may be assigned to lead financial systems and process improvement projects across financial reporting, data integration, and automation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In Procurement Finance, the Analyst is expected to:
- Deliver monthly cost reports on direct materials and indirect materials and services; partner with CPG to identify and report on group-wide cost risks and savings opportunities.
- Develop and maintain cost models to generate timely cost forecasts and to complete the annual operating budget.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and business case analyses on identified savings or cost avoidance opportunities.
- Implement various systems, process, and control improvements as may be determined to be within the scope of the function.
In CapEx Finance, the Analyst is expected to:
- Lead the capital expenditures approval process and depreciation budgeting and monitoring.
- Aid project owners to develop sound business cases through capital budgeting studies (e.g., lease-or-buy, make-or-buy, etc.) and to justify projects using qualitative and quantitative tools (e.g., NPV, IRR, payback).
- Interface with external auditors to ensure propriety of asset balances and depreciation charges, and compliance with IFRS 16 Leases.
- Introduce process and control improvements for asset management.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements:
- College graduate, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Management, or related disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills
- A self-starter with a track record in project management and successful project delivery
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and willingness to learn new systems related to finance and business analytics.
- Prior work experience with a food and beverage or FMCG company (whether local or multinational), in related disciplines such as Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Finance, Controllership, and Taxation, is valued, but not required.
