We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable digital solutions using AEM and related Adobe Marketing Cloud technologies. The role requires deep technical expertise in AEM development, component design, workflows, and integrations with enterprise systems. The Senior Developer will collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance web solutions whileensuring best practices in coding, security, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
● Lead the design, development, and customization of AEM Sites, Templates, Components, Dialogs, Workflows, and Launches.
● Implement AEM core components, OSGi services, Sling models, servlets, and custom
integrations.
● Collaborate with architects to define AEM solution architecture and technical design.
● Integrate AEM with third-party systems (CRM, eCommerce, DAM, Analytics, Marketing
Automation).
● Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs to enable headless CMS implementations.
● Ensure compliance with AEM best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
● Optimize website performance, scalability, and content delivery using dispatcher, caching, and CDN strategies.
● Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.
● Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance within the team.
● Stay up to date with Adobe’s product roadmap and industry best practices to recommend enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent
practical experience).
● 5+ years of hands-on AEM development experience (6.5+ or AEM as a Cloud Service
preferred).
● Strong expertise in:
○ Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR, and HTL/Sightly
○ AEM Components, Templates, Editable Templates, Client Libraries (CSS/JS)
○ Dispatcher configuration and performance optimization
○ Workflows, Launches, and Content Fragment Models
● Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
● Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Cloud Manager.
● Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools (Target, Analytics, Campaign) preferred.
● Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications
